Library Services for Multicultural Communities
Providing cross cultural services is now a major feature within library
communities. This event will cover issues such as social inclusion,
recruitment, including an overview of current anti-discrimination
legislation and examines issues around communication, behaviour,
cultural traditions and practices.
We welcome Ismail Abdullahi, Professor at Clark Atlanta University,
Georgia (USA) and Member of the Black Caucus of the American
Library Association, as presenter of this session.
