Dear eye-movement list members,
We are pleased to announce the venue of a meeting in honor of the
creation of our new research unit “Espace et Action” (INSERM Unit 534).
This meeting entitled “Neural control of space coding and action
production” will be held in Lyon (France) on March 22-23, 2001 with a
visit of the laboratory on March 24.
The meeting will cover the different aspects of spatial coding,
sensory-motor transformation, movement generation and control, with
special emphasis on the themes studied at “Espace et Action”. It will
bring together specialists in eye movements, eye/head coordination,
reaching/grasping movements and postural control, presenting the results
of complementary experimental and theoretical approaches
(neurophysiology, psychophysics, neuropsychology, cerebral imagery,
modeling).
