In Suffolk, not only can we get no financial help for providing a good level
of cover throughout the county with 70 doctors, but we actually pay
Ambulance Control our portion of around £70 000 ( for three counties ) for
the privaledge of a call out system, which is meant to be solely for calling
out immediate care doctors, but now only gets used for that if not inundated
with 999 calls !
