CALL FOR PAPERS FROM
POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS
At the 2001 Joint Session of the Mind Association and the Aristotelian
Society, to be held at the University of York from 6-9 July, two
parallel sessions will be devoted to short presentations by graduate
students (or those who have recently obtained a postgraduate
degree).
Each student will speak for twenty minutes, followed by ten minutes'
discussion.
Students wishing to participate should send two copies of their papers
to Mr A.W. Price, Department of Philosophy, Birkbeck College,
Malet
Street, London WC1E 7HX, by 1 March 2001 (or by email to
[log in to unmask] in rich text format). The paper should be about
2000 words and must not exceed 2500 words. The papers will be
sent to
referees, and a maximum of eight will be selected by the Joint
Committee for presentation at the Joint Session. The programme will
be settled in May. Selected papers will be considered for publication
in the Proceedings of the Aristotelian Society, and the authors will
have their conference fee and accommodation expenses paid by the
Mind
Association and the Aristotelian Society.
