Organisation of rehabilitation services (cardiac, stroke,
psychiatric and orthopedic rehabilitation).
At the National Institute of Public Health in Norway we are
currently building a group of researchers who will support regional health
authorities in health policy/planning decisions.
(Related to hospital planning) we would be very grateful for any
information on
Systematic reviews or high quality primary studies or other high
level evidence studies on
a) effectiveness and cost effectiveness of location of
rehabilitation services, i.e. what is the lowest effective level of services
for rehabilitation services for different pasient groups. Key questions
would be like: Is it more (cost) effective to organize rehabilitation at
centralized hospitals, in primary/secondary care, at home or...?. We would
like to focus on cardiac, stroke, psychiatric and orthopedic rehabilitation
b) effectiveness and cost effectiveness of location of psychiatric
treatment/ rehabilitation services for children and adolescence
Yours Sincerely,
