RESEARCH CENTRE STUDENTSHIP
Royal Holloway's Research Centre for the Holocaust and 20th-Century History
is pleased to announce the setting up of a scholarship to support PhD
research in the field of studies relating to the history, origins and
consequences of the persecution and murder of European Jewry by the Nazi
regime.
The successful applicant will be expected to have a first- or upper-second
class BA degree in an Arts or Humanities subject and an MA qualification in
an area appropriate to the field of research. The successful applicant will
receive £8000 per annum for three years and fees will be remitted for the
period of the bursary. The successful applicant will be supervised by
Professor Peter Longerich, Director of the Centre, will join a thriving
research and postgraduate culture, and will contribute to the Centre's
research interests in the Holocaust in the context of 20th-century history.
The Studentship is open to applicants from the UK, Israel and all European
countries.
