This is mostly directed at Peter, who posted one or two messages about
Marlowe having escaped his would-be killers in Deptford and gone into exile,
writing under other names such as Shakespeare and Barnfield. However,
anyone with more learning than I may contribute. Is the basis of the theory
that Marlowe was the one who wrote Shakespeare's sonnets soley textual? Is
there other evidence to support this attribution? I mean not the
homoeroticism in the poetry but other, more uncommon poetic devices. Also,
just how many poets have had their texts attributed, theoretically at least,
to Marlowe? There are: Shakespeare, Barnfield and, I think, Donne. Those
are the ones that Peter mentioned--if I read the message aright, that is.
Conversely, it could all have been a joke and I could not have got the
humour. Any clarification would be most appreciated! Thank you.

And miles to go before I sleep
And miles to go before I sleep. (Robert Frost)
