Faculty Position
Applications and nominations are invited for a full-time, tenure-track
faculty position available January 2001. This Physical Therapy program,
with a stable yet dynamic faculty, is an entry-level MPT program with a
25-year history of providing quality PT education. The University of
South Alabama is located in the historic city of Mobile on the sunny Gulf
Coast. Responsibilities include teaching, independent and productive
research activity, and service to the University. Preference will be
given for expertise or specialist certification in neuromuscular
rehabilitation (examination and intervention) and neuroscience. Expertise
in electrophysical agents is also desirable. Candidates must be eligible
for Physical Therapy licensure in Alabama, and have clinical and teaching
experience. Post entry-level doctoral degree expected. Salary and rank
commensurate with experience. Interested persons should send a letter of
