As I read Peter's comments they reminded me of the term 'connected
education' used by Steve Gilbert of the TLTGroup (affiliated to the
American Association of Higher Ed.) about the HE sector. Steve posted the
first 5 of 6 articles on this theme to the AAHESGIT Listserv back in Feb of
this year (they are linked off the home page for the TLTGroup
http://www.tltgroup.org/ ). I think there is quite a bit of overlap with
what Peter says above. In case people are interested and haven't seen this
