Dear fellow list members,
I have completed a basic draft of a biographical index of British vegetarians/
food reformers in the Victorian period and will be happy to provide information
on rank and file provincial members of the 'vegetarian movement' if anyone if
researching local/ provincial temperance, anti-vaccination, anti-vivisection
and the other allied humanitarian/ or 'physical puritan' movements. Should
anyone encounter vegetarianism in the local press (obituaries/ reports of
meetings) I would be grateful for the references,
Best wishes,
