The Department of Slavic and East European Languages and
Literatures at The Ohio State University is seeking a tenure-track
Assistant Professor to begin Autumn 2001. The areas of specialization
sought are Russian Cultural Studies and Twentieth-Century Russian
Literature, although applicants with other profiles may also be
considered. Applicants with secondary specializations in teaching
methodology as well as other Slavic cultures are encouraged to apply.
Qualified applicants should have Ph.D. in hand by the start of
the
appointment and should be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to
both scholarship and teaching. Applicants should submit a statement of
interest and qualifications, current curriculum vitae, three or four
letters of reference, transcript, writing or publication sample, and
