As, has been pointed out, the Olympics and Paralympics are not really
associated. And I believe also (as Ria does), that most people don't
realise this. First I thought it a bit alarming that the separateness is
not more widely reported. I then thought about the consequences of
destroying that myth.
btw - the original post (venomous wasn't it?) also talked of the
unlikeliness of the Paralympic logo being replicated on the Bridge because
of the shape of the design. So I think the idea has been considered. I say
as long as you don't put checks and stripes together you should be able to
do anything you want (hey! I think I just invented a disability metaphor) :-)
