many players of the australian rules football team i currently do
sports training for have histories of playing up to three highly
competitive games (colts, reserves, then seniors) in the one day.
they were all about 16-17 years at the time, and as far as i am aware,
have coped with it well. it really must depend on the players
themselves. obvisouly, not every 17 year old could play three 100
minute games a day requiring frequent bouts of near maximal exertion -
although, some are able to do so.
so long as you can be sensitive to any complaint the players have, and
so long as they are sensible enough to indicate when anything is
wrong, surely training every day won't be too disastrous for them.
