Dr. Sood:
I participate in a great deal of planning activities for
free-standing outpatient PT departments in the US. Not
being familiar with your local situation I would first
inquire as to whether you have determined a location
for your Centre. Then I should like to know if there
are any governmental restraints on such an endeavor either
on the very local level with regard to building/location
requirements or at higher levels of government with
respect to specific facility requirements (number and
size of bathrooms, licensing, etc.). All of these as
well as the actual physical constraints of the site must
be accounted for when undertaking planning for a "once in
a lifetime" project such as yours.
What size space are you considering? Do you have any
projections on caseload? Staffing? Growth/expansion?
Will you also be incorporating a physician's office on
site? X-ray?
If I can be of any assistance please feel free to contact
me directly via e-mail.

Subject: physio centre plan !
Dear friends,
Shortly I am going to construct a physio Centre
for myself, a once in life time occasion If not the best I wish to make it
one of the best Centres. I was wondering if someone
can guide me regarding what are essentials rooms a such Centre should have
,beside
1.Waiting area for the patients.
2.My consultation chambers and examination room
3.5 to 10 small cabins with a examination bed in each where our physio can
give treatments like ultrasound/tractions /SWD etc in complete privacy and
comforts.
4.A hall where patients can do exercises like pulley ,Quadriceps ,shoulder
wheel etc
5.Ofcourse toilet for staff and patients.
I have never been abroad so I don't have any idea
how physio centre looks like there
So please help make me my dream come true.
