The day school will provide a historical context for understanding the Anne
Frank exhibition Anne Frank: A History for Today being held in Durham
Cathedral (Saturday 4 - Sunday 26 November), and relate it to the history
of the North East.
Speakers will discuss the broader European context of fascism in the 20th
century and focus on the development of fascism and anti-fascism in the
1930s in Britain and the North East.
