The Buckinghamshire SMR records a number of natural features. In most cases
these are lanscape features identified as boundary markers recorded in early
charters, but we also have a few named natural features that were originally
interpreted as archaeological remains by antiquarians but which have
subsequently been re-interpreted as non-archaeological. Our previous
database (pre-Exegesis) had "Not an Antiquity" as a record type.
