You may be able to find some useful indications of the effect of one-off
events on behaviour change in Health Promotion literature. This should
contain evaluations of the benefit of, for example, World No Smoking Day,
World AIDS day etc. There may be some useful links via the UK Health
Education Authority Website (www.hea.org.uk.
