A few Newcastle students went along to this conference last year and
said 'it was excellent' - so, well worth going if you are interested
in conservation.

Dear Student Conference Participant
Please find attached details of the second Student Conference on
Conservation Science. As you can see, it will be held from 28th to 30th
March 2001, and our plenary speakers include Madhav Gadgil, Georgina Mace,
and Jeff McNeely. If you can think of places where we should advertise the
conference, please contact Penny Roth ([log in to unmask]), supplying a
snail-mail address for a poster.
If you want to come again (you will be very welcome!), contact Penny for a
registration form, which you must return to her by 1st November.
We hope your research is going well, and look forward to seeing you again
