I know this has been covered before, but my digital
camera comes everywhere with me !
I use it in general practice, in A/E and in my
forensic work.It goes without saying I use it in the
pre-hospital arena.
I am now at the stage where I don't just use it for
"interesting cases" but as a substitute for a diagram
of an injury/accident. The added benefit is I have
lots of pictures I can use for teaching as and when.
A bit of practice and downloading to word and typing
the notes is as quick as writing/ drawing.
I am becoming less inclined towards the idea of
initial paper notes at all, unless one is sending a
letter. Certainly in my own unit we are looking more
at moving completely away from bits of paper and
attaching the jpeg files to electronic case notes. I
think EMIS allows you to do this. Not so sure about
GPass.
