My fear is that TV pictures of doctors and nurses getting petrol and
nobody else is likely to lead to hostility towards us.
The effect of high fuel prices on lower paid NHS staff is a real concern
also. I hope that an equable solution is found soon.
One good effect is that everyone I see on the road has slowed down. Is
there a perception that we are seeing fewer RTA's. I should like to see
some feedback on that.
If people drive more carefully, do we see fewer RTA's? (Daft question,
but worthy of debate on the off chance that we get a surprising result)
