I stumbled over this 'anecdote' the other day:
"ULTRASOUND WAVES - have been proven to produce temporary sterility by
reducing sperm count when directed at the testicles shortly before
intercourse."
'Sound, Health, Radio and the News' by Nigel Ayers from RADIOTEXT(E)
Firstly, can any of our experts out there corroborate this one?
Secondly, as ultrasound waves are outside of the human hearing range, does
ultrasound consequently fall outside of the scope of acoustic
ecology/soundscape studies?
Regards
John.
