Can't find Mr Johnson's address so am sending this to mailbase. I think
there must be a misprint in the edition he's using. The last verse of
'The Disciple' begins: 'He that hath a Gospel / Whereby Heaven is won /
(Carpenter, or Cameleer, or Maya's dreaming son)...' [not 'Myra'].
Kipling means Gautama Buddha, whose mother's name was Maya, according to
the Penguin edition's notes on Kim, chapter 1. Lisa Lewis
