dear Annapoorna
sounds like a "wind" swept position
from my little experience in community paeds I came across quite a lot of CP
quads that presented with that type of spasm
how old is the child and what type of seating equipment does he/she have?
can you reduce the tone and take him/her out of that position?
what is their hip joint condition like on XRAY?
your best bet will be to get intouch with a paediatric physiotherapist and
discuss posture control equipment to reduce tone during rest and sitting
best of luck
Sophia
