There are two new essays on my web site this week. They each deal with
aspects of manual care, but from either end of our spectrum of understanding.
"Touch and Sensation: A Deep Model" describes the cellular mechanics of
touch from the patient's perspective, and "Nothing Special" describes what
might be going on in the mind of the therapist as they touch another. The
second one begins with a quote from "Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind."
They can both be found in the "From Dorko's Desk" section of "The
Clinician's Manual" <http://barrettdorko.com>
