Sure. There are at least two related things. Firstly, the proposed
'subject portal' activity will investigate such approaches to their
service provision. Secondly, there will be some investigation of whether
some form of shared user-profiling service is viable or desirable (not
saying anything at the moment about what such a service would look like or
how it would be provided). The approach here will probably to let a
consultancy which consults widely. We want to avoid a situation where
per-service approaches end up defeating the aim they are set up to
achieve.

We will be putting in place some activity which supports the collection
and dissemination of lessons learned in eLib phase 3 projects -
to assist both the future development of the DNER and institutional
information management.
