The British Council's, International Networking Events, in seeking to create
opportunity for people worldwide, runs an innovative programme of seminars
and conferences. Our high quality events in the UK and overseas, designed
specifically to explore contemporary and cutting edge issues from both the
UK and international perspectives, create an atmosphere conducive to open
debate and exchange of views. Attracting a cross section of participants
unlikely to be found in any other forum, our events offer a unique

In our latest programme we are running the following event which I hope will

UK Vocational Qualifications: good business, better results (ref. 0040)
This seminar is aimed at participants who are involved in vocational
education and training in their own country, either as educators, trainers
or as employers interested in training their workforce for the 21st century.
The programme would also be of interest to policy makers and college-based
staff involved in updating or reforming their VET system. The seminar will
be in English so a reasonable knowledge of the language will be needed.
