Allow me to be boring and egotistical by pointing out that you can also
read a detailed consideration of the issue in the book I co-authored with
Ray Lee - Computer Analysis and Qualitative Research, Sage 1998. The book
is based on field research with over 60 users of qualitative software,
including some whose experience made them antipathetic to qualitative
software, some whose experience made them ambivalent, and some who think
the software is the answer to life, the universe and everything...
