Re-Heterotropic Ossification,
Dear Selvaganapathy,
>From my own experience, rigorous stretching is contraindicated in cases
where there has been fractures/fracture-dislocations in or around a joint.
Case in pointfor instance that in children with humeral epicondyle or
supracondylar #s or fracture dislocations around the elbow joint; I observed
that after getting some appreciable range of motion for functional use, any
attempt to go further to full range in over 95% of cases lead to
ossification.
Thanks,
