Hybrid Library: Workshops 2000 - Preliminary Announcement
The HyLiFe (Hybrid Library of the Future)* team is to run six one-day
Workshops exploring many of the human and organisational aspects of Hybrid
Library development. Dates and venues are as follows:
September 5th, King's College, London
September 7th, Southampton University
November 28th, University of Northumbria at Newcastle
November 30th, Nottingham University
December 6th, Edinburgh University
December 12th, Manchester University
NB There is no charge for attendance at Workshops. Early booking is
recommended as participant numbers are limited.
Who should attend?
Workshops will be of particular interest to managers and developers of
Hybrid Library services, including IT staff and subject specialists.
Through a varied programme of presentations, hands-on experience and group
activity, participants can expect to gain a greater understanding of the
potential of new hybrid services and of the issues involved in their
creation.
