* Kennedy Fellows Sought
Each year, the Joseph P. Kennedy Foundation sponsors a Public
Policy Fellowship for outstanding parents and professionals who
have demonstrated a commitment to persons with mental
retardation and their families. Each year, the Foundation brings a
parent of a child with special needs to Washington DC for a year,
to actively participate in public policy development as staff for a
congressional committee, or a federal department. Applicants need
to submit a 2-4 page letter stating their interests and
accomplishments to date, and what they hope to do with the
knowledge they will gain. Resumes and three letters of support are
also required, and are DUE AUGUST 30. For more information
