Glad to hear you are progressing with your work on DC. As you have found
most implementaions require some additional elements to those found in the
DC element set, an example of an implementation we have been working on at
UKOLN is the RSLP collection description schema which shows how this might
be tackled see
http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/metadata/rslp/schema/
There has also been a lot of discussion within the DC community, prior to
agreement on the
recommended qualifiers, as to how to record information such as the
creator's e-mail address.... this is likely to be a topic considered again
in the DC-agents working group see
http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/lists/dc-agents/
And it will no doubt be discussed at the DC8 workshop in Ottawa in
October.
Perhaps a good idea if we get in contact to discuss in more
detail??
