Perhaps you did not think things were so bad after all but probably not
There is nothing wrong with honest and able people speaking the truth
Is this not how ATLS started ?
I am sure the famous "surgeon" who spoke out at the time caused some
embarassment to individuals and groups of health professionals but he
succeeded in producing a change in the system which has benefited patients
world wide.
There is a real need for improved staffing of Emergency Departments all over
the UK and everybody knows this including the patients and staff... and this
includes at the busy times
