Technology Officer, this is a three year post in the first instance with

Learning Technology Officer
The University of Reading is developing its use of information and
communications technology to enhance and support its teaching and learning
activities. As part of this initiative, it is looking for a Learning
Technology Officer to promote and support the use of ICT in teaching,
learning and assessment. The postholder will work with the Development
Officer for Teaching and Learning to assist academic staff in the
implementation of a wide range of learning technologies.
The successful candidate will be a graduate with a demonstrable record in
the development of computer-based materials for teaching and learning
support. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and
facilitation skills are essential. Experience in setting up and managing
an electronic learning environment, Web-site and multi-media development
and working as part of a course development team are all desirable.
Applicants should also have a keen professional interest in issues
relating to the use of ICT in all aspects teaching and learning.
