Does anyone have any experience of using web-based anti-plagiarism
software which they would like to share?
I've been evaluating 'EVE' (Essay Verification Engine) with mixed
results: it's easy to use, effective at finding text taken from sites
indexed by the main search engines, is cheap, can handle txt and doc
formats, has configurable 'sensitivity' settings, but can't distinguish
properly cited material, and doesn't have an option to search
proprietary database collections.
For EVE info, see http://www.canexus.com/eve/
