Portsmouth are pleased to announce the 3rd International
Conference on Language and Cognition in Down Syndrome

This research conference will provide participants with a knowledge
of the latest research on speech, language and cognitive
development in individuals with Down syndrome. A group of the
world's leading experts in this field are being brought together at
the
University of Portsmouth by The Down Syndrome Educational
Trust to review
current knowledge, to identify effective interventions and teaching
strategies and to draw up the research agenda for the
next ten years.
The conference is aimed at researchers, teachers, speech and
language therapists and psychologists with a special interest in the
development of individuals with Down syndrome.
The conference presentations will all be keynote speaker plenaries,
followed by round-table discussions by expert panels. Poster
submissions are invited from participants. Poster submissions to
be in by 1st June, decisions will be made by 15th June.
Delegate registration fee £220. Early registration rate (before 30th
June) £190).
