Colleagues,
For those of you in Britain and research active the following
part-time job for BAC may prove of interest, further details from
Daphne Garrod at BAC, address and other details below
William West
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Part-time Research Development Manager for BAC's Research Department
Research as a priority is high on BAC's agenda and the research programme
at BAC is widening in scope and extent as each month goes by. BAC
continues to facilitate, provide information about, and raise the profile
of counselling in the UK. In a very real sense, BAC is at the centre of
research developments, including its own research network and hosting the
annual research conference.
To deliver an even better service to our members, and to keep abreast with
the ever-increasing volume of research, we are looking to recruit a
part-time Research Development Manager to work alongside the present
post-holder, Pia Dinesen.
As a member of a small, talented, member-focussed team, this is an
opportunity to be right at the hub of counselling research in the UK -
vital in the development of an evidence base for practice and indeed in the
future of counselling as a profession.
The applicant must have direct experience or knowledge of counselling
research, ideally as a postgraduate.
The Research Department is based in Rugby but working arrangements for this
post are flexible and the applicant may work from home with regular office
liaison.
For further details and an application form contact Daphne Garrod at BAC
(phone 01788 550899, or e-mail Daphne on [log in to unmask]). Closing date for
applications is 14 June 2000.
