Dear friends,
We were discussing this topic with a
friend from UK ,whose physio
aspect I wish to discuss here with all of you.
OA of hip which is so common in western nation is so rare in India
infect I see less
than 10 cases per year of OA hip with pain approx where as OA knee that
too in
females we see everyday about 20 to 30 cases ,I was told that incidence of
this very
low abroad.
Is this something to do with sitting
cross-legged or squatting
which is a part of everyday life of majority i.e during defecation
,micturation (squats)
to sitting in prayers or in condolence or in marriage functions
(cross-legged ) .
Does it protects the hips and damage the knee?
Opinion of list in this regard is invited.
