Hi Anna,
I would be very interested in seeking out these references, if you have
them. I am certainly in favour of CPD, which was the title of the MSc I
undertook a few years ago. I could not find references supporting MCPD at
the time (1996), so therefore am very interested in knowing of any now. I
hope I have not given a negative view about MCPD, but in the true sense of
the word, mandatory means compulsory. I appreciate that no-one can be
forced to learn anything, it is the benefit of compulsory attendance which
I am questioning. I would be very interested in knowing more about the
structure of Australia's MCPD. Is membership the professional body
dependent upon this? How is it monitored and evaluated? Looking forward to
