SOUTH AFRICA PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
FINAL REMINDER
This is a final reminder for those who are interested to register for
this one day conference, to be held on Saturday
1st July 2000 at St. Mary's College, Twickenham, UK. The theme
is taken from a book of the same title which is to be launched on
the day. The aim is to work towards integrating an historical
analysis of modern South Africa with a consideration of
post-apartheid 'development' initiatives. This involves a
consideration of recent developments in the South African
historiography, critical approaches to the local application of global
'development' discourse and practice, and the theoretical
implications of political transition.
