I am planning on using NVivo for the first time to analyse 60 semi-
structured interviews. To what degree does the searching facility
aid the analysis? I am aware that the package does not 'do' the
analysis and that careful reading of the transcripts is still vital but
am unsure to what extent searches save time / zone in on salient
themes.
I'd really appreciate helpful comments from any budding NVivo
users out there!
Thanks,
Mica

Thanks for the information and the assurance. I was surprised when I was
warned about the possible corruption that deleting a node would cause. If
it was true, it would seriously hamper the flexibility and usefulness of NVivo.
