The 31st AULLA Congress will be held at the University of Adelaide,
Adelaide. SA, Australia from Tuesday, February 6 to Friday, February 9,
2001.
Proposals are invited for papers or sessions addressing the conference
theme (Changing Landscapes: Language and Literature Studies Across the
Millennia) and related areas. Papers should be of either 20 or 40
minutes’ duration, and sessions should be of 90 minutes’ duration.
Individual Papers: Send paper title, a 200 word abstract and an
indication of length (20 or 40 minutes). Your paper will be scheduled in
an appropriate session.
Sessions: These may be organised by individuals, academic societies,
university departments or publications and will consist of three 20
minute papers, or a 40 minute and 20 minute paper, organised into a 90
minute session (including discussion time). Session organisers should
contact the Secretary for information.
Those wishing to present papers or sessions at the conference are
invited to contact the secretary not later than Friday 25 August 2000.

The Congress will be held at the University’s main campus, close to the
city centre and the attractions of the “cultural mile” – the Adelaide
Festival of Arts Centre, Art Gallery, Museum, State Library and the
Botanical Gardens – as well as affordable accommodation and many fine
restaurants. Full details of the Congress, including Registration forms,
will be available on the conference website.
