Learning Space Design
At the CRDLT we have produced a web-based multimedia presentation about the
design of learning spaces in universities incorporating new technology.
It provides a set of easily reproducible and scalable templates, which can
act as an aid to others in higher education and elsewhere faced with the
problem of designing room spaces that incorporate new technologies. This
work is part of a continuing research project and we would be very
interested in hearing of other peoples experiences in this area. We are
particularly interested in hearing from people planning to build new
facilities in the next 12 months or so who would be interested in
collaboration. To view the Learning Space Design presentation please visit

Teaching and Learning with Digital Media
We are also embarking on the design and delivery of a series of short
courses under the umbrella title of "Teaching and Learning with Digital
Media" which we hope to convert into a postgraduate course at a later date.

Quicktime Information
For your information Quicktime is an extremely common Web and PC multimedia
format (the next generation of MPEG is based on Quicktime technology) and
is widely used by film companies to show their movie trailers on the web. If
you would like to sample these trailers visit this site:
