According to Cataloger's Desktop, 1999, issue 4 the MARC code for
Bosnian is SCR (which stands for Serbo-Croatian (Roman)). It is one of
the languages for which 3 rather than 2 letters have to be used.
If you do need to use one of the two-letter codes from the
'Technical contents of ISO 639:1988 (E/F) "Code for the representation of
names of languages".' which you cited in your message, the closest
would probably be SH (Serbo-Croatian).
