Products of FACE 2000 Conference:
Sessions A-C papers: A special issue, tentatively titled as "Free-air CO2
enrichment (FACE) effects on plants and ecosystems", will be published in
an established international journal. The conference organizers will serve
in editing the special issue papers.
Sessions D-E papers: A volume, tentatively titled as "Lessons from FACE",
will be published by an established international publisher. In our planned
arrangement, the book chapters will also be journal articles. Dr. Bruce
Kimball will serve as the Editor-in-Chief with some others serving as
co-editors.
Instructions for the manuscript preparation will be sent soon by Dr. Kimball.
The speakers of session B will be asked to bring a Table of Results in a
common format across the FACE projects. The Table of Results would greatly
help the syntheses of results from different FACE studies. Its details will
also be sent soon.
DEADLINES:
Abstract submission (all papers): 10 May 2000,
Manuscript submission (Papers for sessions A, B and C): 27 June 2000, and
Manuscript submission (Papers for sessions D and E): 31 July 2000.
