The Social Policy Review is published annually by the Social Policy
Association. Typically it contains 12 -plus chapters on current
issues and developments in social policy, both in the UK and
overseas. It is edited by 3 SPA members, who are also automatically
co-opted onto the Association's Executive Committee.
Hartley Dean and Roberta Woods' terms as Editors of the Social Policy
Review end this summer. Two new editors are therefore required from
June 2000; they will join Rob Sykes in editing the Review for a
3-year period, starting with edition no 13. Editors must be:
*members of the SPA
* familiar with current developments in research and teaching across
the subject area
* have experience of editing publications (including commissioning
contributions)
* have IT/copy-editing skills/experience for producing camera-ready
copy.
If you are intererested (or know someone else who is), please contact
me ([log in to unmask]) or Rob Sykes
([log in to unmask]). If more potential applicants applly than are
required, a selection will be made by the current editors and SPA
officers on the basis of the above criteria.
