Would any colleague be able to suggest literary texts which deal with or
illustrate the Italian response to the Spanish Civil War? I've been
asked for ideas for a reader/ anthology in translation to be used in an
interdisciplinary course in our Faculty.
I thought of Sciascia's short stories and Goffredo Parise, but both
authors seem to me to engage with the Spanish Civil War in a very
indirect way.
I should be grateful for any advice on the matter
