what they are buying, do they? Could explain the absence of tachy.
You describe a good going tonic fit - could this have been a
metoclopramide induced dystona (can give rise to muscle spasms, facial
spasms and the classic occulogyric crisis)?
There was something in the Drug & Therapeutics Bulletin a few years ago,
and the BNF advises caution in the use of metoclopramide in the under
20's especially teenage women. Have only seen one occulo-gyric myself,
but this was discussed in another thread.
Still a favoured anti-emetic.
