Bob, have you looked at the so-called 'Canons of Edgar' and Penitentials? If
so, I'd be interested to hear what you think, as I haven't had much chance
to look at them, or writings about them, for myself. And I've seen a ref to
a Bishop of Worcester getting aeriated about a well at North Cerney, Glos,
in 13th C, but haven't tracked down the original document.
