LECTURER IN PHYSIOTHERAPY STUDIES
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, motivated and
experienced individual who has an interest in both research and
education. Research activity is a key element in this post, and will be
given high priority in the postholder's duties and responsibilities;
these will be to develop a research portfolio in line with the research
strengths of the department and to contribute to the delivery of the
undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
You must demonstrate an ability to develop and execute a programme of
research, disseminate research findings widely, and work within a
multidisciplinary environment. In addition, you will be
state-registrable as a Physiotherapist, have a commitment to the
professional education of physiotherapists in higher education, and
hold a higher degree. You must have an interest in multiprofessional
learning and teaching and flexible delivery of courses.
You will be joining a committed and supportive course team and a
department with a rapidly developing and successful research and
postgraduate portfolio. The subject area of physiotherapy is well
established within the University, has a very good externally-funded
research base, and possesses an excellent clinical education programme
with strong working links with clinical partners.
Salary within the range of Lecturer (£17,238 - £30,065 per annum),
depending on qualifications and experience.
