> The roles:

> - Healthcare Analyst/statistical analyst
> You will contribute to our programmes by researching and critically
> appraising clinical and health economic information, gathering and
> analysing quantitative and qualitative data, summarising research and
> findings into effective presentations and reports and interacting with
> health care professionals, health economists and healthcare researchers to
> discuss ideas and progress research.
> Knowledge of health economics and/or familiarity with the principles of
> evidence based health care would be a distinct advantage. For statistical
> analysts, familiarity with the principles of meta-analysis would be
> useful.

> - Project leader
> You will be responsible for developing, implementing and leading our
> projects ensuring that high quality work is delivered in accordance with
> the commissioning brief. Through the successful co-ordination of
> multidisciplinary research projects you have proved your abilities Your
> role will also involve interacting with our commissioners to ensure their
> requirements are understood and delivered. Effective project management
> skills and a good understanding of the principles of evidence-based
> healthcare or health economic research are essential requirements for this

> - Information Specialist
> You will have a graduate or postgraduate qualification or equivalent
> experience in library or information science and extensive experience of
> searching literature, in particular online databases, good skills in
> information technology including word processing, database management, WWW
> page production, reference management, data transfer and manipulation, and
> electronic troubleshooting. Familiarity with the resources to support
> evidence based health care and clinical effectiveness is essential.
> Experience in computing is highly desirable.
